EXACTA!
$1 WIN!

And another promising sign, as winners in Decidedly Less-Than-Lucky $even have been rarer than ever the last few seasons. Willie pulled it off in good fashion too, getting the exacta just when he needed it (and future contestants take note: He did not utilize the old and now-discredited strategy of going with 5 as his last call)!

Oh, great, a Michelle and a Melissa in the Row now. I'm mildly dyslexic when it comes to these two names (also see "Jennifer" and "Jessica"), and am always mixing them up. If I get through this without screwing up it'll be about as amazing a feat as Willie's win just now...

And yes, I will continue to call this HD issue up every time Pathy is played until it's corrected. I love the old Add 'em Up display, but this can't continue.

Last chance for Jonathon to escape the vultures... lucky for him, he has last-bid advantage. Let's see if he can make the most of it.

  1. Just now watched this episode. I watched the second Showdown 3 times, and I swear the last spin (that landed on a dollar) didn't go all the way around. It started on 20, she pulled it back to 80, and there's no way it made it to $1.00 twice with that spin.
