October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the cast and crew of The Price is Right are doing their part; partnering with Ford Warriors in Pink to help raise awareness for those whose lives have been directly or indirectly affected by this disease. Everyone in the Peanut Gallery gets a gift from Warriors in Pink, and you can look for a certain pink theme in many of today's games and prizes.

JUST THREW IT AWAY

Okay. Let's forget, for a moment, the LFaT rule that it's never the first price in line, and let's conside $3,007 as a bid on its own merit. When was the last time you saw Price offer a trip worth that little money? Even the blue-moon trips offered in Contestant's Row don't go much lower than $3,400, and those are to places much closer to LA than San Fran is! (Don't be misled by the fact they're in the same state; the distance between LA and San Francisco is roughly equivalent to the a trip from Boston to Washington, DC. Quite a haul, that.) Even ignoring the usual trip factors, Price stage prizes generally don't go below four grand these days unless they're part of a multi-prize game like Most Expen$ive or One Wrong Price.

The theme of the day may be pink, but after that playing I feel like I'm starting to see red...

These are not the cheapo Ameriware knives given to the CNAoS at the end of the show, guys... come on!

It's too bad Ashley's playing 10 Chances, but not for the usual reason; I wanted to see her trying to win an Ashley bedroom group or something. Ah well, I'll just take my HBP medication and get this over with:
  1. Cuisinart coffeemaker (Hey -- other than mine is black, that's my coffeemaker!)
  2. Noritake Quantum crystal stemware

THE COMMA DID IT!

...Okay, you did that just to shut Internet whiners like me up, didn't ya? Admit it. XD Victory forgives a lot of sins.

Both 10 Chances and the Detroit Lions are off to undefeated starts and I can't tell you which is the bigger surprise.

Danger Price is one of my favorite games, legit, but I'm really starting to dread seeing it come out of Door #2. I just know something like this is going to follow it wherever it goes.

Since today's theme is cancer awareness, I can't in good taste use my usual metaphor for the situation Brenda and Adriono find themselves in. Therefore, I'll instead borrow Shelly's old Green Screen O' Doom for today and threaten them with Genlock Junction instead.
