Early
Warning Dep't.: I probably won't be able to do a recap for Monday's
episode, because of a dentist's appointment where it's not entirely
likely I'll return from in any condition to do much more than be
miserable for most of the rest of the day. I do
still plan on at least knocking out a speedrun, but don't be
surprised if you don't see one from me.
Now
that that's out of the way, let's find out if we can give away eighty
grand on this, the fifth and final day of our Plinko special... on
Friday the 13th no less!

The
scary bit is, she even says
she went "False" for the last prize "because it's
worked so well for me in the past." It's almost as if she
stopped caring about the car and is just enjoying her moment in the
sun now, which doesn't bode well for her one pick...

She
did end up going with my own pick, so I can't complain there.
Strangely, it seemed most of the audience wanted her to go with the
$18K pick, since I saw a lot
of people holding up eight fingers in the crowd shots.

This was noted by another recapper
during this game's last appearance, which I wasn't around for, but
there's a slightly different sound effect for the Geezmo whenever
someone moves the Leever. The numbers also appear to change faster
than before.

Finally,
someone unafraid to push the Geezmo into four digits! Though she did
get some cold feet and almost let the Peanut Gallery scare her into
running the other way. I wonder if increasing the speed of the
numbers has anything to do with it...

Pretty
obvious what had to be done here, but at this point I'm not gonna
complain.
Well, now, this is interesting. We haven't seen a certain game yet, so we know what's at stake for this IUFB. It's also the last chance for Kaelyn to avoid becoming dinner for our fine feathered fiends... and she's got the advantage. Can she escape, and in the process earn a chance to make Price is Right history? Let's watch...

Today's
PCH Jackpot:
$80,000
|
|
Not only is this a big moment for Stephen, but to say that all of this week's disappointments and heartbreaks will be instantly forgiven if this chip goes where it's supposed to go would be, indeed, quite accurate.
So we're all crossing our fingers and hoping for the best, as Stephen drops the chip...
...it bounces over to the far right side...
...but starts making a comeback towards the center about halfway down the board...
...until it finally reaches the last row of pegs...
...where it could go in either the $80,000 slot or a zero...
...and...
...one bounce later...
...we get...

HEARTBREAK
|
Aw, man. What a depressing end
to a fun stunt.
...But wait! We're not done with the
Prize Patrol yet, it seems. Drew announces that, since nobody got
the jackpot, PCH will offer a cash bonus of $25,000 to today's
Showcase winner, in addition to the Showcase itself. So there's
still a chance for some big bonus money, at least.
(Yeah, now watch, we get a
DOB...)
(CC2:

Ryan,
Kaelyn (F4), and Rosemary receive VocoPro karaoke microphones and

All
in all, a pretty fun stunt, even if it didn't go entirely as we
might've liked it to. Hopefully they'll do something like this again
in the future!
We're
back next week... hopefully Monday, but more likely Tuesday. We
shall see.
