  2. Gateway 23" touchscreet computer (4GB RAM, 1TB HD, wireless AIO; GOS)
  3. Golden West Billiards pool table w/accessories (RR)

After much deliberation and rearranging, including a moment where she had block #3 on the computer (an arrangement that probably had every techie in the audience biting their tongues clean off in frustration), Rosalie settles on this:

1
Computer
$815
2
Motor scooter
$3389
3
Pool table

Her final arrangement agreed with my own, but my heart sank the moment I saw the scooter's price. Bloody wild cards...

BEAUTIFUL WIN!
(Game package: $860; Piggy Bank: $4.53)

Technically an ace, because she nailed all four car digits in a row, but only after lighting up that one Piggy Bank number. Small matter, however! Well done!

Are we gearing up for another lucky-spot day like we saw yesterday? Let's see...

Double Cross:
  1. Inspire multistation home gym (MA)
  2. GE 23.2ft² stainless steel rerigerator/freezer (AL)

It's been around for over a year, Drew, you can stop referring to this as a "pretty new game" now... well, I guess it is still the newest game in the rotation at that...

I was also gravitating towards $2,154 for the refrigerator, but $4,950 seemed a bit pricey for a home gym -- even for the surprisingly expensive ones this show's been favoring lately. Remembering that the Budgetpocalypse has come was the key this time.

Given the recent way trips have been going, I've got to think $5,743 or $5,734 this time. One or the other for sure.

The last two digits were a coin toss, but there was no way that trip was gonna be $7,500. Not this late in a Mike Richards season.

And the sad part is... I actually like this game a lot. It's always been a favorite, in fact. But the way it's been going lately, I literally cringe whenever I see it. --;

Well, now, this looks hopeful... he's down to the last digit and still has one lifeline. Unfortunately, my sharp HD eyes can't help him; the vague outlines of 0 and 9 look almost identical in that Add 'em Up font.

AT LAST!

Oh, that felt good! In fact, this whole day has been a tonic for the sick Price fan's soul, with the exception of that Eazy Az 1-2-3 setup -- and that was only the result of a coin-flip that could've gone either way on the scooter and the pool table. Between yesterday and today, this is what you call a late-season high!

Unfortunately, there is one person not celebrating this latest streak of good fortune, and that's Barbara... still stuck down in the Row and staring banishment in the eye. Will she end up summering on Leftover Island, or does she have a last-spot rally in her? Let's find out.

But hey, we can't let that get us down, right? We had both car games won, and that doesn't happen all that often anymore -- especially when one of them's Pathfinder. That's gotta be a good thing, right?

  1. Gas Money, That's Too Much!, AND Pathfinder won in rapid succession. As Bobby B once said - I hope you realize we are in the presence of a miracle!

    1. That's Too Much! is actually won a lot more often than people give it credit for. More than Gas Money and Pathfinder combined, in fact. But you know what they say about perception creating reality.

  2. TTM! only has four wins this season after its win on Monday, so it's easy to see where its bad rap is from. (Source: TPIR Summaries site; which I assume you check regardless)

    1. It seemed like more to me. And I guess, then, my statement would not be totally accurate; Gas Money and Pathfinder have combined for as many wins this season as TTM! (3 for Pathy, one for Gas Money). I'll stand corrected, but my point is still valid (that people give TTM! so much grief for being "impossible," when in fact it actually gets a few more wins on average than several other car games that don't get nearly as much attention).
