A note about the next few weeks...

As noted at the end of today's recap post, next week will be a truncated one consisting of just three episodes, due to the Thanksgiving holiday here in the US.

The week following, there will be only two new episodes:  One on Monday (2 December) that's being billed as a "Cyber Monday" special, and one on Wednesday (4 December) that should have aired about three weeks ago, but was delayed due to the recent typhoon in the Phillipines.  (Draw your own conclusions, folks.)

Since the math adds up so nicely, I will combine those latter two episodes with the three for next week and call that Week 42-10 for the purposes of my statkeeping.

And in case you haven't heard, the week of 9 December will be a special "Pet Adoption" week of shows... with a certain Very Special Guest Star™ scheduled for the 12 December episode.  Now, you've probably already heard about this one by now, so I won't insult your intelligence by playing a game of "Riddle Me This" with his identity -- especially since that date might ring a bell with some of you especially observant LFaTs.  Yeah, it's Bob Barker, returning to the scene of the crime (so to speak) for only the second time since his 2007 retirement, in this case to A) celebrate his 90th birthday and B) promote his favorite worthy cause to the nation once more. I have heard a few reports from the taping, unsubstantiated as I type this, that Bob will actually be hosting at least part of this episode; however, I cannot back that up concretely one way or the other.  I guess we'll all just have to wait and see.

It's gonna be an interesting couple of weeks around here, to be sure...  Stay tuned.
