Of course, I've been wrong before and sometimes I'm glad to be wrong. This, naturally, is one of those times, as we've snapped a seven-game losing streak. Can we keep it up?

Balance Game for a car:

Yes, it does happen every blue moon or so, and we're about to see it...

Hmm... $9K and $7K, perhaps (for $16,495)?

And Balance Game, sadly, remains on course for an 0-fer in Season 42. Irritating.

DOUBLE ouch. The chip actually bounced into the $10K, but momentum sent it careening back out and into a zero. Damn you, Isaac Newton!

Appropriately, car alarms went off outside my window when this unholy thing reared its head on my TV.

Luckily, the GPs seem simple enough today, so there may be a chance, however sub-microscopic...

In Andrew's defense... I don't think he's bought razors in a while. ;^) So I can forgive that slipup.

For a Volkswagen in 2014... $21,738 seems like a decent enough price. Don't think it'd be in the $19K window.

...of course, given my recent luck, that's probably exactly what it is, so my official guess is $19,738.

(Rachel drew the low card)

I KNEW IT!

Well, I would've blown it anyway on the 2 in the hundreds column. This really did need all three freebies to be won.

I'll admit, this setup was a bit less outright evil than Stacky usually is; it was just bad luck that a guy with a Rally Beard™ had to play it when razors were one of the products in play. I'm convinced that's what made the difference this time. I still want the pleasure of killing this game with fire, though.
