TPiRecap: 10 March 2014

Quick programming note: Next week will consist of a single new episode on Monday (a St. Patrick's Day Spectacular, according to my notes), followed by four reruns owing to the commencement of March Madness. After that, it's a straight shot to the end of the season, barring any future network pre-emptions or last-minute schedule shuffles.

I'll also try to lay down my plans for the future by next Monday. For now, however, let's be about business as usual.

I'm sure some people are spitting nails over Kayla's decision to take her second spin. For myself I'm not gonna voice that much disapproval over it. 65 is the upper limit of numbers where you can make an argument for spinning again, if you're feeling lucky. Even if there's only one person behind you, there's still a good chance (better than 1:3, in fact) that it won't be enough, so I can see the case for the defense here. To me, 45 through 65 inclusive are first spins where I won't argue too much whatever you decide to do (assuming, of course, you have the option of taking just one spin); Lady Luck can indeed be that fickle sometimes.

I almost needed to buy a new TV, because my fist was about to go through it when I saw how badly she was dawdling -- ten seconds for one try in Bonkers! just ain't gonna cut it with me. But all's well that ends well!  (I don't even mind that I was wrong...)
