TPiRecap: 28 April 2014

It's hard for me to be entertaining in light of everything that's going on down in Arkansas and Oklahoma today, and my heart goes out to all the victims of the terrible tornadoes that hit last night and this morning.

Still, if I can take someone's mind off of tragedies for at least a few minutes and at least try to put smiles on a few faces, I suppose it does provide a useful service, however small. Therefore, as they say in the business, the show must go on...

I'm thinking 8 for the handbags now ($846), so Donnell's best advised to stay away from that.

Smart move, that. In fact, I'm also now going to go out on a limb here and suggest the Piggy Bank won't be less than seven dollars. Thus, the wisest move would be to stay with 1, 2, and 3. Chances are, you'll fill in the car before anything else if you do it that way.

Unfortunately, that takes the "easy" out of this. Though we know the 8 will complete the handbags' price, and should thus be avoided at all costs, there is now a 1:3 chance of picking a number that'll complete the Piggy Bank. This wouldn't have been a danger if Donnell had simply avoided picking the 7 and stuck with the three low-endian digits.

Fingers crossed, and...

Now, the big question... Is that car $19,153 or $19,253? The difference of a single Ben Franklin will decide whether Donnell wins a near-$20K car or walks away with McDonald's money.

Fingers crossed yet again, since it seemed to work a second ago, and...

If only he hadn't called that 7! But then, hindsight is always 20/20 and maybe there really was a chance of a $3.0x Piggy Bank or less.

Rough way to start a week.

What is it with Cliffy being played for unusually nice trips lately? I'm not complaining, mind you, it's just a weird thing I've noticed.

Things are definitely not looking too good today in Old Thirty-Three...

The plane is fueled up and waiting on the tarmac, ready to whisk Joseph and Erika away to the wonders of Leftover Island... but there's still time for one of them to save themselves. It could be Erika; she has the advantage, after all. Then again, the advantage hasn't worked out so well for her when she's had it before... but things have been known to change on the proverbial dime around here. Will we see it happen now?

How fitting Scooby-Doo is on that bottlle of Act. Because this game usually makes me go "Ruh-roh, Rhaggy," at least in spirit.

As always, the first two are dead simple. After that... I say BBQ sauce, scones, and Act, in that order. Ignore the soap, because I think it's higher than $4.99 (the largest thing showing that isn't the giveaway).
