Drew explains today's gimmick: After conducting a contestant search via Instagram, the show has selected two finalists and flown them to LA to take part in this taping. One of them will be called down at some point during today's show.

SUICIDE

Didn't take Vanessa very long to earn her way on stage -- at an opportune moment at that, since it's car game time.

On top of that, it's a car game that has been surprisingly generous all season, Line em Up (currently sitting on eight wins out of fourteen playings):
2014 Ford Fiesta S (1.6L, paint/fabric prot, cargo management pkg; RR)

  1. Scanpan 8pc non-stick cookware set ($675; RR)
  2. Sterling Pro French coffee press -- hey, I actually own that! ($68)
  3. Pies for a year (ClubsGalore.com; 12 deliveries; $521; MA)

(Of course, I didn't pay $68 for mine...)

Well, that's helpful... it almost kinda forces the price to be $15,612, since car prices generally don't like doubled digits if it can be avoided. Still...

Drew doesn't know why this game is so tricky. Here's a hint, Drew: This game is tricky because it was designed to be! And a decidedly less-that-contestant-friendly GP portion doesn't help matters at all, either.

@bluejean24 said it best: "Hard game stack the deck #PriceIsRight." Either start giving contestants one free digit of their choice from the start, or retire this game. I honestly cannot think of anything else that can be done here.

Angela, Angela, Angela... remember when I said "That's no way to get out of the Row?" Your bidding was better in the last segment, but you're still standing at the Banana Podium and now you're on the verge of banishment. Luckily, you do have the advantage now, so my advice is to make the best use of it you can...

Before our final contestant Comes On Down, Drew and George take a selfie with the audience, thanks in part to a People poll that requested it. (The other option was to do one at the Big Wheel. Naturally, the Peanut Gallery won.)

ARRRRRRRRRRRGH!!! Just when things were going so well, too...

Those were both great bids... just on the wrong side of the over/under line. And we all know what that means. Unfortunately.

Tomorrow's finale for this week is a Viewer's Choice special -- the fans pick the prizes, the games, the wardrobe, you name it. Be interesting to see how that pans out... See you then, hopefully with a better end result than this.
