And now, to wrap up a hit-or-miss gimmick week, we present...

Note
Socially Awkward Awesome! Week #5

Our final gimmick for the week is a Viewer's Choice special -- and it's got nothing to do with defunct pay-per-view channels. Recently, the show conducted a Twitter poll asking viewers what games and prizes they wanted to see on a given episode, and we're about to find out how all that went down.

In other words, if you don't like today's lineup, you've got nobody to blame but yourselves. ;^)

Onward!

The fans even got to vote on the outfits worn by the models today!

@BrothaCheese gets in a great Tweet: "I'm still waiting for the return of Professor Price..." (Hey, better that than Stack the Deck at this point, I'd say...)

Since today's a fan-favorite show, you just know Plinko is gonna be part of it, so let's get it out of the way early -- as soon as we clear Daniel Goddard off the set, that is... ;^)

...but now, we've got trouble.

Figure 2 or 5 for the thousands digit of the car, depending on what you believe a Miata price to be... the camera is most likely $830 or $930... this is still winnable. But that last Piggy Bank digit scares me, because it could literally be anything (except zero).

Unfortunately, now it's a pure guessing game for the tens digit, and without much of a net at that. Only safe number to call is zero, and that won't get you very far.

As Chelesa is whisked away to Leftover Island, a page helps Constance on stage to wrap up the week with Grand Game:
  • Lipton Recipe Secrets onion soup mix
  • Tilex Daily Shower cleaner
  • Vlasic sweet relish
  • L'Oréal studio Line hair gel
  • Hunts diced tomatoes & red peppers
  • 3 Musketeers Fun Size candy bars (11oz)

Apparently the Twitter overlords were given the choice between a car game or a cash game in this spot, and greenbacks won out...

Avoid the chocolate and the cleaner. Everything else, even the hair gel, ought to be safe.

Showcases: Joi (true) top winner, Debora runner-up.

1. More Than Words...

  • One Word: "Fantastico!"

    • 2014 Kia Rio LX (1.6L, 6MT, rear bumper appliqué, carpeted mats; RR)
Joi bids $26,500.
(My bid: $27,525)

For our second Showcase, Twitter was given a choice -- it could be about Young & the Restless star (and occasional Price guest model) Melissa Ordway's favorite things, or one about her character on the show. Reality won out over fantasy this time, and so...

2. Today's Special Guest, Melissa Ordway, Regales Us With a Showcase of Her Favorite Things
  • Apple iPhone 5s w/1yr calling plan (450 mins & 3GB data/mo)
  • Jimmy Choo designer shoes & clutch
  • Trip to Nashville, TN (6n, Gaylord Opryland Resort)
    • Tickets to Grand Ole Opry
    • Barbecue dinner
  • 2014 Toyota Prius Two hybrid (1.8L, AT, carpeted mats, cargo map, rear bumper appliqué, paint/fabric prot)
