TPiRecap: 23 October 2014

Before we begin, I just want to step out of "character" for a moment and ask you to spare a thought and (if you're so inclined) a prayer for the family of Crpl. Nathan Cirillo, the Canadian soldier who was shot and killed yesterday in Ottawa. I know I have many Canadian readers, and just so you guys know, I feel your pain and am supporting you all the way.

Is that a corner of the Giant Price Tag I see about a foot off the stage? It must be Grand Game:
  • C&H pure cane sugar cubes (1 lb)
  • Hodgson Mill honey whole wheat bread mix (16 oz)

  • Annie's Naturals salad dressing
  • Degree for Men deodorant (2.7 oz)
  • Alberto VO5 shampoo (12.5 fl oz)

Avoid the tooth whitener and, as weird as it may sound, the salad dressing. It's an organic brand, and organic brands are pricey to the max.

Y'know, this must be the only place on Earth where a $2.25 price tag on a new car is a very bad thing...

With one $2.00 card on the board and one 75¢, she's got a 1:5 chance of finding either of them in her picks, and she needs one or the other (and a lot of help with the 75¢ card) in order to win. It's all down to Madame Fortune now.

And we're back tomorrow to see if the trend can continue to close out the week...

  1. I honestly thought that Ella would have lost on "Card Game" today. Shows what I know.

    1. I thought she was going to lose on Card Game too. But I thought she would just keep on drawing and go over. I knew the Yaris was either $16,000+ or $17,000+. I am glad we finally got a car win but I bet it will be a long while until things start getting good again.
