Hole in One (or Two):
2014 Volkswagen Jetta S (2.0L, 6AT, FWD; $18,815; AL)

...Nope, the bonus is still just $500. I always go into each new season half-hoping they'd finally bring that into at least the '90s and make it a thousand bucks. Of course, as often as it's been won lately, it may as well be a milion...

  • Act Kids anticavity rinse
  • Progresso Heart Healthy soup (18 oz)
  • Aspercreme pain relieving creme
  • Star sun-dried tomatoes (8 oz)
  • Kraft Jet-Puffed mini marshmallows (10 oz)
  • Selsun Blue dandruff shampoo (11 fl oz)

Dried tomatoes
Soup

He had the Aspercreme and the Selsun Blue reversed from this originally, but the crowd made him switch them to the configuration you see. Unfortunately, I don't think that makes much difference, since he's probably not getting off the first line with the tomatoes where they are..

I was afraid of that, and so was Drew.

Drew's Inspiration Putt:
Off center, the rebound doesn't work... but hey! It does go into a hole—specifically, the hole where a price flag should've been! Of course that doesn't count...

Kenneth's First Putt:
A strong putt that just misses the hole...

...but he gets it on the rebound!
WIN!

Who needs pricing skill when you can putt like that? ^^; Drew: "We should give him a green jacket with that car!"

...And it's right at this point that CBS breaks in on the East Coast with the news of Thomas Eric Duncan's death from Ebola in that Dallas hospital. Fortunately, this is 2014 and CBS.com can pick up the slack for this segment.

...Well. It could have picked up the slack, if the CBS.com webplayer wasn't a pathetic pile of putresence that's slower than most city governments and evidently no longer allows the user to fast-fowrard. (Such is my conclusion after trying it in no fewer than three separate browsers.) Therefore, I must resort to ganking from another recapper for the essentials on this next spot, and the one I choose is the one from QWIZX.com...

  2. Next Week, 2014 Dream car weeks. I guesses Dream Car Pricing games : Triple Play, 3 Strikes, Gas money, lucky $even, more or less.

  3. I've been able to fast forward on the CBS player when I did the LMAD recaps. I just had to disable the ad-blocker or set CBS.com as an exception to ad blockers.

  4. Gas Money and Triple Play will NOT be played in Dream Car Week. When each car was revealed, the Gas Money set was beside neither one of them, nor was the Triple Play logo. Besides, if Triple Play were to be played, there would be 7 dream cars, not 5. 3 Strikes and Lucky Seven might show up, and maybe even More or Less.

    1. "Besides, if Triple Play were to be played, there would be 7 dream cars, not 5."

Not necessarily; they could have chosen to do it where you had two "normal" cars followed by the Dream Car as the third.

    2. Maybe, but remember last season's Big Money Week, when Triple Play was played for 3 luxury cars?

      Audi A6
      Range Rover Evoque
      Chevrolet Corvette (trim unspecified)

They didn't need normal cars then.

    3. Anyway, it doesn't really matter. No Triple Play sign, no Triple Play.
