Christmas Special #1

Yes, I do still call it a "Christmas" special, but I'm cool with whatever you want to call it. Christmas, Haunnakah, Kwanzaa, Solstice, "the holidays," Festivus (for the Seinfeld fans out there), whatever, it's all good to me.

There are battles worth fighting in this old world. Sniping at each other over exactly what to call what is supposed to be the most festive time of the year, a time that's supposed to be all about peace on earth and good will towards others, probably isn't one of those battles. Just saying. Anyway...

And to address something that was brought up in the comments a while back: Nope, even with the new studio lighting conditions, I still can't make out the unlit numbers in 3 Strikes like I can in Pathfinder. There's got to be something different in the way they do the two games to make this happen.

  2. You mean Tedious and Numbing™ can actually be WON!?! O_o

"Luke cleans us out", indeed! ^^

  3. How come in the post Roger D. TPIR era among the Big 4 pricing games in the last few years 3 Strikes and Pay the Rent have wins but Golden Road and Triple Play are still on their since 2008 losing streaks? (Although I hope for Tuesday's or Wednesday's TPIR episode Golden Road is played, maybe that day Golden Road's losing streak will be over!)

  4. Yeah, like I said earlier, methinks the Pathfinder board is too close to the lights that the numbers can be made out. Remember, they made it so it could be seen over the player's head. That, and the covers for each slot's made from glass, lexan, or something else hard. Meanwhile, the spaces on the Three Strikes board are lower to the floor, larger, a bit duller, and covered with something softer and/or less reflective.
Anyway, that's just my guess; accept at your own risk...
