Card Game:
2015 Volkswagen Golf hatchback Launch Edition (1.8L, 5MT, FWD; AL)

Unfortunately for myself and my play-along instincts, I made the mistake of trying to Google exactly what George was saying to confirm that was, in fact, what he was saying. And in the process, I tripped over the MSRP for this car.

Well, at least I'll be able to tell you within reason if Jordan's going to win this or not...

Slightly unusual angle on the GPT going into Grand Game—well, that's one way to hide the "one foot off the ground" deal:
  • Crisco pure canola oil (48 fl oz)
  • El Monterey Southwest Chicken taquitos (24)
  • Wright's Liquid Smoke seasoning (3.5 fl oz)
  • Pledge Orange Clean furniture polish
  • Merzetta roasted bell peppers (16 oz)
  • Old Spice Fiji deodorant

Frankly, this one's a blind lottery to me. Good luck, Christie... something tells me you'll need it.

As I feared. That would've been my first pick too. >_< Ugly scene.

Do you realize that at precisely the halfway point of the week (in terms of Pricing Games), we've only had three winners so far? That's not good.

So, three things just happened in the course of five minutes here. One, I screwed up my templates and had to restore from an older save. Two, I chipped my tooth in an awkward place. And third, this episode rolled out one of my least favorite games, Swap Meet. So yeah, this has turned into a fun day:
  1. Whirlpool Duet washer & dryer (Plessers.com; MO)
  2. Bilton 7'6" longboard w/LED lighting system & remote control (MO)

  1. That VW in Card Game seemed awfully cheap to me! I figured "Launch Edition" would be a special kind of trim that would drive the price up to at least $20,000!

On the flipside, that deodorant was EXPENSIVE! Who pays $6.49 for THAT!?! I sure don't! Granted, it IS Old Spice (I typically buy Sure deodorant), but still...

I guess I was a moron playing Pick a Number, too. It wasn't that long ago that a Mexico trip on TPIR could be had for less than $3,000, and this trip was over $7,000!?! That's just not right...
