As the Snowpocalypse rages on, here's a little something to take your mind off of Mother Nature for at least a little while...

Do the Math:
  1. MIS 27" touchscreen computer (16GB RAM, 1TB HD, Sykik speakers; AL)
  2. Alexander MacQueen designer accessories (MO)
I'd actually take a chance on adding here. Those look like the really expensive accessories, not that I know anything about the designer of course.

Janie subtracts...
Not the way you want to start a fresh new week, especially after the last one we had. 8^/

After being not quite as evil as it had been for a while, Lucky $even's beginning to revert to type. This isn't a good sign.

Time is Money:
  • Milk-Bone small dog biscuits (24 oz)
  • Cracker Jack popcorn snack (8.5 oz)
  • Spot Shot Pet stain remover (14 oz)
  • Nature's Bakery Fig Bars (6 ct)
  • TruMoo vanilla-flavored 1% milk (8 fl oz)

I'm thinking milk and popcorn in the cheap bin, stain remover in the pricey one, with of course everything else in the middle.

Suzanne goes down in history as the first contestant to ace Time is Money since its return to the lineup! (Drew: "Might have to retire the game!" He's joking, folks...) See? It can be done!

Flip Flop, also for the third time in seven days:
Summerset outdoor kitchen island (AL)

First instinct says it's gotta be $9,549. Those kitchen islands routinely flirt with ten grand, and rare indeed is the one that goes for under six. However... this does look like one of those rare cheap ones if any of them do. If it turns out to be $5,9xx I wouldn't be terribly surprised either.

I actually thought Margarida nailed the perfecto with that one... it was my own bid, truth told, assuming an $899.95 MSRP for each of those. (Remember, all prices on the show except for GPs are rounded to the nearest whole dollar.)

I had a price in my head of about $23,850, with the aforementioned voice nagging at me that it was more like $24,995. Obviously, all three of us (my head, my mental voice, and Margarida) had the wrong idea.

One of the few bright spots last week was that we didn't have to banish anyone to Leftover Island. That streak is now in jeopardy, with Aaron staring down the business end of the shuttle (as opposed to business class) unless he makes the most of the advantage... but this will be the third straight one-bid where he's had that advantage. Third time lucky?

  1. They use the same sound effects when there is a big win? Usually, they use that sound effect when someone wins $10,000 in Grand Game, $25,000 on the big wheel, Double Showcase Winner, & any other times when there is a big win?
Hey, wait....There is another time they use that same sound effect when someone wins the $100,000 in Pay The Rent (I think)

  3. I figured YOU, a guy who I'm told is originally from Connecticut, would have something to say about the blizzard headed for that state. Aren't you glad you now live in Ohio?
