Not looking good here. I'm sticking with 62, but I'm also thinking he won't go there. His next two calls will be some combination of 96, 80, 57, or (shudder) 43.

At least he didn't fall for the Easter-egg trap, which is more than can be said of the last few players who got Money Game... still, a frustrating way to open today's proceedings.

Bit of a scare after the first two SPs (and the $35 bid on the third), but as I always say, wins forgive sins. 8^)

Hey, the big game that everyone waits for all year with bated breath takes place this Sunday.

I am, of course, referring to the Animal Planet "Puppy Bowl." What else could I be talking about? ;^) Anyway, we've got a special guest with us today to promote it... "Referee" Dan Schacter (sp?), who has a little friend with him... Drew Carey.

No, really. The puppy's name is Drew Carey. She is, of course, up for adoption—and as Bob always used to say, if you don't live in the LA area, you can find a great friend just like that at an animal shelter near your home.

Since the shoes are Christian Dior, I'm going to assume they need the $3,047 tag. Thus, my prediciton is simply to put the tags in ascending order, left to right ($900 for the foosball table, $1,500 for the treadmill, $2,345 for the pizza oven).

Hmm... no obvious anachonisms and a relatively recent "Then" period. This doesn't augur well. Could we be about to witness the second-to-last unbeaten game of Season 43 fall to defeat?

It's off to the departures terminal for Danielle, while Abigail gets Gas Money and our nice little winning streak is put into some serious jeopardy:
2015 Dodge Dart SE (2L, convenience grp; RR)

$18,265
$19,725
$21,300
$20,565
$17,470

It's a more-or-less stock Dart, with just a "convenience" package (whatever that is supposed to mean). Thus, my prediction is towards the low end of the scale... $18,265 most likely, but $17,470 isn't impossible either.

Phew! Now I feel more confident than ever that $18,265 is to be avoided at all costs (and of all costs remaining on the board, too).

Abigail: "I know the smart thing to do is stay, but I didn't come all the way here to do... that!" (What, the "smart" thing?) ;^)

FINALLY! I honestly have no idea why this game is lost so often (the odds of winning are 120-24 against, which reduces down to 4-1; statistically, it should be won about every fifth playing), but that only makes it far sweeter when it actually is won, as is certainly the case here.

So in the end, only a disappointing Money Game stood between us and perfection today. I can live with that, especially with this last win! 8^) Great way to wrap up an otherwise unimpressive week.
