TPiRecap: 5 January 2015

POST-MORTEM NOTE: This, apparently, was the episode that was accidentally leaked to the Internet a few weeks back.  I never got to see the show before it was pulled down, and I purposely avoided reading about anything that went on in that episode, so everything you see here is my fresh and unspoiled take on the proceedings.  Honestly, I had even forgotten about the leak in the first place until someone at GSP indirectly reminded me of it.  That's why you won't see any mention of that slipup in this recap, aside from this leadoff paragraph.  Chalk it up to gremlins and proceed forward.  Scratch that; the leaked episode is tomorrow.  Misunderstanding on my part.  Never mind.

Just a note: Before too much longer I'll begin experimenting with using Office 365 to format these. I'm sure that'll engender some controversy (I like controversy) on the grounds that I'm moving away from using strictly Open Source software to do the TPiRecap, but I did get a year's subscription to Office 365 as a Christmas gift and I figured it couldn't hurt to see how well it worked with Blogger—and honestly, a few preliminary tests suggest that tables formatted in Office require a lot less post-production than they do in Libre. Rather a compelling argument, particularly since I strongly dislike using the Blogger editor unless I have no other choice (or if I'm just doing a quick text-only post).

We'll see how it goes. For today, however, it's business as usual behind the scenes, with LibreOffice in full effect throughout...

Well, at least she got off the first line. Better than Friday's showing.

Drew's Inspiration Putt:
Pulled right.

Drew undersells himself; he's actually made about four or five putts since taking over from Bob, not even including the one we saw Friday.

Fallon's First Putt:
It's a two-carom shot, and the second bounce actually gets it closest to the hole of all... but still nowhere near close enough.

Fallon's Second Putt:
Bit of a sloppy shot, but the line is true... and it goes right in, so it's all good!
WIN!

Well, that certainly feels a lot better...

  1. This was NOT the leaked episode from earlier. I remember seeing a game on that show that was not present here.

  2. If you thought this episode was good, wait until you find out what happened in tomorrow's episode.

  3. I would have started with the cat treats myself because they didn't look like they were more than the mouthwash. I mean, who would want to pay more than $4.99 for cat treats?!?
