HARD LUCK

And Plinko seems to be back to its stingy ways.

Good thing Kailee has the advantage on this last bid, because it's probably her best chance to get out of weekending on Leftover Island...

...Argh.

Flip Flop:
Trip to Southampton, NY (6n, Southampton Inn, daily breakfast; RR)

(Note: The trip is a flight from LA to New York, by which is assumed JFK, La Guardia, or Newark (NJ). From there, it's a car ride out to the Hamptons, which are out on the far east end of Long Island. From one who knows, that's at least a 90-minute drive, possibly longer if you're coming in from Newark, and that is if traffic is on your side. They don't call it LONG Island for nothing...)

86
14

I would actually be tempted to say $8,641, just because it's the Hamptons and that's where all the old money lives. You just can't get there cheaply. However, $6,8xx is also believable given the actual distance from LA... I'd say Flipping is probably the safest bet ($6,814).

Natasha Flips...

68
14

...Just as an aside before the reveal: Why is it so many people who play this game think they can't do both, Flip and Flop, even though Drew (and Bob before him) explicitly say they can when they're explaining the game? It's weird.

Anyway...

WIN!

Of course, it wasn't necessary this time! And while obviously not a perfect show, it's a day where the loser horns aren't heard, which has to count for something. (Of course, that's pending us not being sullied by a DOB in about ten minutes as the show flies...)

  1. Ironic how the two Showcase players were the two contestants who didn't win their games.

    They seriously worked hipsters into a Showcase!?! -_-;

A part of me was hoping they'd offer a trip to Armenia at some point...

  2. I was pretty close too; I would have bid the following:

    Showcase #1 $24,000
    My Difference $983
    That would be good, but...

    Showcase #2 $20,250
    My Difference $21

    Double Showcase Winner!!!
