TPiRecap: 7 April 2015

Exactly one year ago today, Price celebrated its 8,000th episode with a 5-for-6 day and over $88K given away. Let's see what a difference 365 days can make...

Mike Richards hates my guts. I'm going to assume a minimum of $6,000 for the trip when determining the total values for today, unless something happens along the way (i.e., Winter winning this game and the Showcases) to let me fill in this blank more accurately.

...and you want to know what makes this worse? Martha has been here before. Not just a Repeat Offender, mind you, but in 1996 she played Dice Game and lost. I don't see her luck improving now, either. >_<

Still, miracles can and do happen... and in the interest of full disclosure, Martha did end up going all the way to the Showcase and winning on that day, so it wasn't all bad news for her then. Now, however? Might be a different story.

The good news is, there's absolutely no question what the ten thousands digit needs to be... that helps a little. But not much, since a Fiesta could be $17K, $18K, or $19K depending on where everything lands.

  1. Did you notice in "Stack the Deck", when Drew said it's his favorite. I think he was being sarcastic there.
