Our (first?) nod to Memorial Day today, it seems, is the American flag design as today's Cover Up gag.

Wasted too much time on the four-digit wild goose chase for my taste, but everything worked out okay in the end, so who am I to complain? ^^;

Color me impressed! This is... about as perfect as you can hope to get. Brooke has reduced this to Five-Digit Pick-a-Number in Easy Mode, and the 5 can be more or less safely discounted. That just leaves one question... is that a $16K car or an $18K one? It could literally go either way, since Fiestas aren't quite the cheapies they used to be.

(Rachel deals with a shorted-out fifth-digit light frame... at least our version's working)

YES!!!

Twice in one season! It can be done!

...Maybe this is why this evil game is kept around, and kept as difficult as it is—because on the rare occasions it is won, it feels all that much sweeter.

(CC2: LCTT / Blue-Emu )

We learn that all three contestants have Showcase winners in the family—Edward's wife twenty years ago, Miriam's mother in an unspecified season, and Brooke's mother in '79... who was actually a DSW! Neat.
