Other than the allergy relief and the beans needing to go in the first two bags respectively, I'm at a loss here. His guesses would be as good as mine...

I'm liking $45 for the desk fan, $20 for the popcorn maker, and possibly $36 for the chopper. The curling iron is a wildcard, but it does reduce my choices for the car to 1 or 5.

Cross our fingers and hope for the best...

Try #1, in which she uses every single one of her 30 seconds on audience-polling and general dawdling, but that's less unforgivable here than in, say, Race Game or Bonkers!...

Figures. A week that begins with a DSW also contains a DOB... and guess which of the two I had to miss out on. >_<  On the other hand, Baggy and More or Less were won today, so I can't complain too much about the lousy ending.  We still ended up doing good.

(Because I know I'll get asked, the preemptive answer is, "No, we are not even remotely close to the record for DOBs in a single season." In Season 41, just two short seasons ago, there were twenty-two of the cursed things. Barring a complete disaster, we're well ahead of that pace.)

    1. It is a good (not great) game... with a horrendous track record of late in terms of car wins, and of course the car is the only prize that matters in that game.

You do realize that people are allowed to have different opinions, right?

  3. here the question : why missing recap never recovery?(except 5/29/2015)
    please the answer.

    1. I'm going to assume you're asking why I don't go back and do the episodes that I had to skip over. The answer is simple enough: I'm not a machine, folks. I also don't keep multiple episodes on my DVR.

The only reason I was able to go back and recap the episode you mention is because it was a Friday show, therefore it stayed on my DVR for the weekend and I was able to do it on that Saturday. Any other day of the week and I wouldn't have been so lucky.

  4. Actually, according to priceisright.com's calendar, there are only 8 new episodes left before the next season, so the dubious record is UNREACHABLE this season.

    1. So this means that the regular season ends next Friday, with the last 2 eps being the 4th of July episode(likely on July 3), and the Back to School episode in mid-August?

      Delete
    2. Next week is the last full week of Season 43 (almost; Tuesday's show will be a repeat). After that, in addition to the two specials, there are two make-good airings of shows that were pre-empted earlier in the season, one in August (with an airdate marked "TBA" on priceisright.com) and the other on 8 September. Season 44 kicks off on 21 September.

      Delete
    3. Actually, I need to correct myself: The 8 September episode is brand new. (Not certain what it could be, but it's worth noting that this date is the 40th anniversary of the first-ever hourlong Price episode. I smell a Big Wheel Birthday Party.)

Regardless, the point is made: Even if every remaining episode in Season 43 were to end in a DOB (surely not!), we still wouldn't break the all-time futility mark. We're safe as far as that goes, anyway.
